Medical Device Companies Insurance Coverage

Insuring Products for Your Medical Device Company

We provide insurance protection to manufacturers (including contract and component) and distributors of medical devices that have been reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA ), or other global regulatory bodies.

What additional medical device insurance coverage is needed for your company?

Products-Completed Operations Liability Policy

This coverage was developed to respond to claims associated with bodily injury or property damage by third parties for work performed and for products sold and delivered. This coverage applies when the provider has completed the work and/or the product is no longer in the possession of those who handled it in the chain of commerce, such as the manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer.

Errors and Omissions Policy

This is triggered with a “Wrongful Act” which is a negligent act, error or omission in your work in the manufacture, design, production, processing, installation, preparation, assembly, blending, missing, distribution, packaging, labeling, crafting of instructions for use, or storage (while in the care or custody of and insured) of your product, or wrongful results of research.

*In the event any of the information presented conflicts with the terms and conditions of any policy of insurance offered by Medmarc Insurance Group, the terms and conditions of the actual policy will apply.
