Every year during the holiday season, Medmarc gives an annual donation toward various community philanthropies—including healthcare organizations for children, therapeutic services, physicians, and more. Medmarc employees drive which community non-profit organizations to support throughout the year and then vote at the annual holiday event.
Charities selected for 2023:
- Cure JM Foundation:
Cure JM Foundation was established to find a cure for Juvenile Myositis. Their ultimate goal was to eradicate JM, so that no child would ever have to suffer from this insidious disease again.
- The Medical Care of Children Partnership: https://www.mccpfoundation.org/
The MCCP provide access to quality, comprehensive medical and oral health care services to low-income, uninsured children, aged 0-19, of working families who can’t otherwise access medical and dental care.
- The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation:
They raise funds to help families in Northern Virginia whose children have significant medical issues or special needs.
- Loudoun Breast Health Network:
Their services provide financial assistance and physical and emotional support to those who were recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The Loudoun Breast Health Network (LBHN) has been an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since June 2007. LBHN’s mission is to assist Loudoun County residents diagnosed with breast cancer through outreach and support.
- Willing Warriors:
Willing Warriors is a privately-funded 501 (c)(3) charitable organization offering cost-free getaways from the hospital environment where Warriors and their families can come to relax, spend quality time together, and reconnect. Their programs include more than 40+ cost-free educational and recreational activities, including seminars that address the issues of dealing with PTS and TBI. The intended outcome of these retreat stays is the Warrior, and their family members return to the routine of rebuilding their lives feeling refreshed and inspired.
Medmarc and their employees donated, packed, and delivered 206 packs of weekend food bags (1055 lbs. total) that were distributed to needy students participating in the Dulles South Food Pantry’s (DSFP) “Backpack Buddies” program.
We continue to support DSFP and its programs by hosting an annual food drive and donating funds during our Medmarc Give Back Campaign.
