Claims made continuity protections that can reduce coverage gaps
Continuous Coverage Relationship works in tandem with the Extended Reporting Period to extend the time the insured has coverage for claims when the insured remains with Medmarc.
Global defense and multinational resilience
Worldwide territory (including space and atmosphere), defense of claims in foreign jurisdictions with reimbursement when prohibited, Difference in Conditions / Excess of Local Insurance, and drop-down coverage if a local insurer becomes bankrupt or taken over by a regulatory agency and is unable to meet their obligations.
Broader, more modern liability triggers
Coverage for mental anguish within the Bodily Injury definition, and punitive damages where permitted—addressing emerging loss scenarios that many life sciences forms may exclude or restrict.
Broad Definition of Insured
The revision expands and refines who is an insured to reflect modern life sciences business structures.
